Membership Benefits:
Membership is available to all persons who subscribe to the aims and objectives of Saiosh. Saiosh is committed to the upgrading of the professional skills of its members by keeping them updated and informed on the latest developments in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. Seminars and workshops on a wide range of Health and Safety topics are held on a regular basis for its members. Saiosh acts as a lobby group for Occupational Health and Safety legislation and standards and for this purpose interacts and liaises with the Department of Labour and other Government Bodies on behalf of its members.
The following grades of membership are offered:

Note:
Membership criteria is stipulated in the Saiosh Constitution which can be viewed from the home page on this website.
Full Membership will only be awarded to applicants that hold a related M+3 or higher Occupational Safety or Health qualification.
How to apply:
1. Download the membership application form HERE or obtain it from the registrar via e-mail HERE
2. Complete the application form in full. Please print clearly.
3. Scan the completed application form as well as certified copies of qualifications and e-mail to the Registrar by clicking HERE

4. You will receive confirmation of your application as well as an invoice.
5. If you do not get confirmation of your application within two weeks of submission please contact the Registrar's Office.
6. Once your have paid your application fee you will be registered as a member with Saiosh and a membership certificate will be posted to you.
7. Your membership certificate with unique number, which is also your invoice number, is issued for life. Your certificate and membership will remain valid for as long as your membership fee is paid every year on or before 28 February.
Fees 2012:
Application Fee - R200 (once off payment for new applications)
Membership Fee - R285
Pro rate adjustment from 1 October which will include membership for 2013
